Outer Self Salon

Outer Self Salon is a space for you to come and customise your Outer Self in a safe and respectful environment.

We are a gender-neutral salon. We believe you should pay for the service you require based on your hair, not your gender. Our service menu is set slightly differently to reflect this. Please book according to your hair length: Short hair is neck hairline length and shorter, with a maximum of 3 inches long on top. All other services cater to medium-long hair. Please don't hesitate to send a message or email if you require clarification at [email protected].

We are proud to be part of the Sustainable Salon movement, where 95% of our salon waste is saved from landfill. As a client of Outer Self, we charge a small fee of $3 per client (already added to your service) to ensure we do our best as a business not to contribute to unnecessary waste.

Outer Self celebrates diversity and would love to make your appointment as comfortable as possible. If you prefer, we offer a low-sensory appointment. Please add this option when booking, and we will be in touch to discuss how we can make your visit comfortable.

Outer Self is a home-based salon in Eltham North. Once a booking is made, a text message with the address, parking, and accessibility information will be sent. Please acknowledge and respect our cancellation policy when booking.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners and Elders, past and present. Outer Self is paying the rent at www.paytherent.net.au.
